Improving Communication

We want to improve the way we communicate with patients. Some of you are already receiving text message reminders for appointments. We want to widen the number of patients benefiting from this service and we want to use the service for more than just appointment reminders. For example, we might text you to let you know when a prescription is ready to collect or to ask you to come for your annual review.

From March, if we've got your mobile number, we'll include you in this service unless you've opted out. Please let us know if you wouldn't like to be part of this service and please make sure you inform us if your number changes.
Thank you

Phase 4 information for GP practices - NHS Digital

We are upgrading to the next phase of the Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) which will mean that almost all our prescriptions will be processed electronically from 6 March 2020.

Electronic prescriptions help save the NHS money.

You will receive your prescriptions in the same way as you do now.

Read more about EPS on the NHS website.
